Across two unforgettable days this London Fashion Week, Art Hearts Fashion brought their international runway experience to the iconic, bustling city. 

Ensconced in the historic St John’s Church in Hyde Park, over 15 designers showcased their innovative pieces on the runway. My Goddess Complex’s very own Philosophy Editor Ellie Kokerov also graced the runway, as pictured below. 

With designers hailing from across Europe, the US and other parts of the world, this global showcase embodied Art Hearts Fashion’s central mission of championing creativity across borders.

Fresh from presenting at New York Fashion Week, Founder and President Erik Rosete spoke on the significance of the international platform’s presentations, stating “We can take a designer from New York to London, from Los Angeles to Asia, and introduce them to entirely new audiences. Seeing our international fashion family come together in London was incredibly special”.

Like the platform’s name would suggest, a range of talented designers presented eye-catching looks inspired by art and architecture. Maltese duo Charles and Ron drew on the sweeping, historic architecture of the country with intricate detailing and vibrant colours, whilst Priestly Garments’ love of painting translated into bold designs featuring original artwork printed onto textiles.  

Channeling the platform’s emphasis on celebratory cultural exchange, US-based designers Le Tam and LRE’ The Artist spotlighted their Vietnamese and Nigerian heritage, respectively, with playful colours and sculptural silhouettes. 

Adding to the overall spectacle of the presentation were an abundance of bold silhouettes. Mister Triple x’s glamorous designs featured striking forms, whilst  Morfium Fashion presented pieces with dramatic shapes which embodied the label’s emphasis on self-expression.  

Cutting-edge aesthetics illustrated the platform’s innovative outlook. Swiss Digital Design’s futuristic pieces reflected the label’s innovative digital design techniques whilst Hardcore Fashion’s unconventional menswear looks took their reverence for individuality further with an array of limited, one-off pieces.  

Complementing these bold designs were a variety of chic, evening gowns and resort wear pieces which celebrated femininity. Giannina Azar showcased exquisitely beaded gowns, whilst Tangerine Tiger’s tropical caftans brought vacation dreams to the runway. Bad Sisters’ emphasis on feminine self-expression was transfigured into bold, contemporary silhouettes. 

Further embodying Art Hearts Fashion’s transatlantic expansion, LA-based designers demonstrated the versatility of the city’s thriving fashion scene on the runway. Cross Colour’s oversized streetwear pieces embodied the label’s artful approach to promoting social unity, whilst Merlin Castell’s architecture-inspired looks offered striking silhouettes in bold colours.  

With over a decade and a half of experience spotlighting international designers, Art Hearts Fashion’s expansion onto London Fashion Week’s global stage signifies that there is a bright future ahead for fashion hopefuls across the world.
