This November, over 100 shows performed in 60 languages will grace eight iconic London fringe theatre stages. Spotlighting migrant and multilingual experiences, the three-week festival aims to reflect the vibrancy of its host city by featuring performances in a variety of languages.

Having achieved record-breaking ticket sales in 2025 after becoming a multi-venue festival in 2024, Voila! is committed to maintaining its grassroots approach whilst reaching larger audiences than ever before. Championing the unique cultural narratives and aesthetics of its creatives, the festival seeks to encourage positive change by spotlighting different perspectives.

No matter where you’re based in London, there’s a venue for you at this year’s Voila! Theatre Festival. Host theatres include: Barons Court Theatre, Canal Cafe Theatre, Etcetera Theatre, The Playground Theatre, Theatro Technis, The Space Theatre, Upstairs at the Gatehouse and The Cockpit.

Although Theatre Deli are unable to host any shows this year, they’ve demonstrated their incredible commitment to multilingual fringe through a development residency programme which offers free rehearsal space, mentoring and financial support. This year’s winner, Romeo Lau’s Blondie Blue Eyes, will be performed at the Canal Cafe Theatre.

Looking to engage migrant communities frequently underrepresented in the arts, over half of the programme will be performed in English and more than one other language. With the use of surtitles/subtitles, the programme remains accessible to English-speakers, regardless of whether the show is performed in the audience’s native tongue.

This year’s programme features: migrant-led and London-based Ensemble not Found’s The Radical Wedding Engine, Bulgarian-directed Legend of Kaliakra, South American Nessuno Collective’s The habit of getting used to it, Taiwan-based Sun Son Theatre’s Lament of the Wandering Head, Italian theatre company Batisfera’s The Gummy Bears’ Great War, Shhh Theatre’s Much Crazy About Nothing, Akeim Toussaint Buck’s Windows of Displacement, Ukrainian-led Heaven to Earth Plus, Natasha Markou’s Brewtopia and Polish-led Out of This Crow Productions Ltd’s Basilitrix, among others.

At a time where forces seek to divide London based on the very diversity which makes it so special, this migrant-led festival joyfully champions unity and authentic cultural expression in the face of hatred.

Voila! Theatre Festival runs from 2 to 22 November 2026 across London.
