Amongst the buzz of the film event of the year and ensconced by the historic Carlton Cannes hotel, hiTechMODA delivered a luxurious, red-carpet inspired runway production which incorporated clever nods to its cinematic setting. Featuring a variety of looks from designers from around the world, this Cannes Film Festival week showcase launched hiTechMODA’s 2026 international programme with style.

Operating out of the ever-fashionable New York, hiTechMODA is an award-winning sartorial production company with inclusivity at its heart. Aiming to democratise fashion by creating a platform for small international designers, hiTechMODA produces innovative fashion shows which combine an appreciation for both technology and sustainability.

Drawing on the theme of couture in the French Riviera, this chic showcase elevated the traditional runway show experience by crafting an immersive pre-show atmosphere. Guests were greeted with champagne in the luxurious Cannes hotel lobby and encouraged to soak up the city’s bustling ambience during what is undoubtedly its most glamorous week.

Elegant, eye-catching dresses graced the runway, with a mix of both bold and minimalistic pieces offering something for everyone. Think silky slip dresses, embroidered suits and sculptural gowns with sheer panels – glamour to match its picturesque setting. Rich jewel tones were also in abundance, complimenting the regal atmosphere even further.

This Cannes presentation spotlighted pieces by up-and-coming designers Divine Silk, House of Zora, Marc Defang, House of Anastasia and Zaggaro. With a bespoke Cannes collection, Divine Silk brought sleek glamour to the Croisette, whilst House of Zora’s bedazzled, artful gowns turned up the drama. Marc Defang made his runway debut with a variety of expertly tailored, colour-blocked two-pieces, offering a chic and structured approach to formal wear.

By taking full advantage of all the eyes on Cannes with this glittering showcase, hiTechMODA fulfilled its aim of creating a global platform for new designers. With upcoming shows in New York, Paris, Tokyo and Milan, hiTechMODA’s Cannes curation sets the tone for an exciting year in fashion.
