https://ufd.london/ was set up  by Kateryna Platunova, a Ukrainian lawyer who escaped the war in Ukraine, relocating to the UK with her two daughters. Wanting to support UA designers and creatives, and seeing London as a perfect place to launch, with the UK having been so supportive of her country, and where she and her collaborators now call home.

The launch of UFD is being officially celebrated this week, with a launch party at https://www.instagram.com/shoreditchartsclub_/, tying up with International Women’s Day, considering all the women and mothers affected by what is going on in not only in Ukraine, but Gaza, and other stricken places around the world.

In attendance, to support the launch, were Geoff Cooper of SAGABOI, Jennifer Drougett of Anciela London, Hector Maclean, Lorna Luxe, Cristian Burbano, Diana Gomez, David Watts, Marcus Jaye, Aaron Akinyemi (BBC), Mihaita Costic, Erroll Jones, Chelsea Ted and various Ukrainian dignitaries.
