Justin Cassin returned to London Fashion Week in Shoreditch Town Hall, following the debut of his SS23 collection in 2022. He once again elevated the menswear game with modernist silhouettes that both reference and attack classic tailoring. Pushing boundaries with monochromatic looks, viscerally tactile fabrics, and a blend of cool and neutral tones, Cassin’s AW24 collection is a proponent of individual expression.

Asymmetric lines provide a base for a soft, tailored pieces and an understated colour palette. Opening and closing the show with monochromatic looks, Cassin’s exploration of light and dark takes in a journey of neutral nuances in between, deftly balancing beige and brown tones with accents of soft blue and olive green, all playing out on a texturally diverse and tactile canvas of leather, linen and flashes of tweed. Accentuating Cassin’s appreciation of classic workwear silhouettes is a stunning linen jumpsuit, updated and elevated with the designer’s contemporary vision of form and functional details. The models walked to Eminem’s “Lose Yourself” in parallel directions, closing the show together with an orchestrated ‘domino effect’ walk-away to the tune of “All the Stars” by Kendrick Lamar and Sza.

On top of that, Cassin’s commitment to reducing his label’s footprint, from start to end of production and delivery, is a foundation block that reinforces his approach to fashion.
